Wardrobe Wednesday

Today’s Wardrobe Wednesday is my last Lisa Kerr Designs outfit that I want to share with you. This is a very beautiful 2 piece white knitted dress. I’ve never been able to wear a white dress – until now. I’ve never found the right one – until now. But never let it be said that you can’t wear a white casual dress. ANYONE could wear this little number.

I had many, many compliments on how lovely it was at work today. To which I would reply, “I wouldn’t be wearing it if I had a Prep class!” and then giggle at how true that would be. I was a little self conscious of wearing it to work. A little frightened that I’d lean up against the white board and get pen on the back, or spill my hot drink down the front. I am always one of those people that can never wear white out to dinner because I would inevitably spill or drop something on me and I would have a noticeable stain for the rest of the night. But I needn’t have worried. I can home as clean as I went to school. Thankfully.

What I like most about this dress is that the length is now longer than the original one worn by the model (see photo below). It is now a very flattering midi length rather that a short or mini length dress. If it was the originally shorter length, tall people might find it would be more of a tunic than a dress. I also like that this dress comes in black (see photo below). I have a few friends who have bought this dress in black and one of them is wearing it to a wedding later in the year. Very versatile as you can dress it up or down.

The only down falls of this dress, and they are no fault of the designer, are that it is probably a little too nice to wear to school, so I’m going to keep it for casual wear or going out to dinner. Also, parts of my necklace would catch on it and pull a thread – the good thing about that was it was very easy to pull to back into place.
